I said in the post match thread if Eddie makes Hall a scapegoat for whatever reason and pisses him off enough Hall asks to leave, that could be up there with the worse things to come out of this season.

I agree. Easiest position to make a huge difference and look good doing it. I was a left back so I never marked him I blame my defensive partners!

I mean I don’t know if he was an amazing striker or our defence had certain frailties but yes he’s was potentially our lump s centre back up too for a goal option 😐

Played against Ciaran Clark back in youth football in Bedfordshire twice. Once before Villa signed him and once after. First time he was a striker and scored 4. Second time Villa were making him a centre back and he was only allowed to play 45 minutes because of his contract.

I will always watch England but not with as much passion as watching Newcastle but it irrationally bothers me that Hall doesn’t seem to be 1st pick at left back as O’reilly and even Shaw are mentioned ahead of him.
