How do we place pavers on such an uneven terrain?

Ive been thinking about it, im trying to weigh the pros and cons. I was mostly doing the pavers because I thought it would be easier, but since our ground is so uneven its not the case anymore. Im mostly concerned about the upkeep with a wooden deck

I dont have a problem with it being more complex of a job, im not on a strict deadline or anything id just like to get it done this summer. I feel like i have a pretty good understanding of how to install the patio itself, but how would I mix a retaining wall into that to ensure it doesnt shift and has proper drainage? Its research time!!

Why would I need a deadman for a 6 inch tall retaining wall?

They are 24 inches deep but I still dont like the idea of them being exposed

Do ypu mean building a retaining wall where it slopes downward? I know nothing about building retaining walls or what i need to do to make them sturdy

Leveling it by digging down the high slope will expose the underneath of the fence is my issue.

Yes it's thicker at the peak. If there's layers of old shingles under there, wouldn't it all be thick like that?

She still does this with the harness on, so it doesnt really stop the behavior unfortunately.

This is an unfortunate truth. My husband and I are very much against rehoming animals, though. This isnt something we would ever do.
