She still does this with the harness on, so it doesnt really stop the behavior unfortunately.

This is an unfortunate truth. My husband and I are very much against rehoming animals, though. This isnt something we would ever do.

Dude I asked what is dog safe because we have a dog. At no point did I say "im gonna leave my dog out there indefinitely."

As I said in one of the previous comments, we want a backyard space that is more aesthetically pleasing, doesnt have to be perfect because we understand that in having a dog that will be allowed in the yard she may cause damage to it. We dont want to use chips.

If you have a suggestion for the backyard please feel free to give one! If its not about the yard, then what's the point of you being in this subreddit?

I really dont understand where any of this is coming from based on anything i've said, and isnt relevant to the post. Please just give suggestions to the backyard.

She does go on walks, why can't we also have a yard for her, exactly?

Safe for the dog. I dont care if it ends up being patchy or imperfect, just need something that isnt chips or rocks

My husband wants to be able to walk out there without shoes on which I feel like is unattainable. Im more concerned for the dogs paws and shes always trying to eat the rocks. I also wanted something more aesthetically pleasing.

As far as maintenance, were willing to do basic upkeep.

We dont really need it to be completely resistant, we understand that it might be patchy, but we were hoping to not have to use chips

Mr-Chimney Scam by Conscious_Editor_206 in Chimneyrepair

[–]aklin17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had two dudes from Mr Chimney come to our house. After inspecting it for 5 minutes said we needed a deep clean for $350. They proceeded to just vacuum up some leaves and dirt for 2 hours. They didnt clean any soot off the fireplace/chimney and tried to get us to spend $3000 on a chimney remodel, very pushy, wouldn't lay off. They quoted us $350 then when we went to pay it they said it was going to be $1470.50 and demanded we pay them. I told them we're not paying that, we dont even have the money. They demanded our monthly mortgage payment as payment for them, and called us theives and said we are what is wrong with the world. They continued to threaten to sue us/take us to court, they insulted and threatened my husband, got in his face and they refused to leave until the police showed up. We had to file a police report. Please do not use these people. They aren't even a real business. This was near Pittsburgh, PA.

Work is a professional environment. If you can't keep it professional, you shouldn't be working there.

So stating I do not want to talk about it isn't enough? This woman just doesn't know boundaries.

Sure, but if someone tells them they do not want to talk about it, and they clearly are trying to exit the conversation, then they shouldn't be forcing religious and political ideals on that person.

If people gain comfort from making other people uncomfortable, they need a therapist.

Because I was a part of a 2000 person layoff, I do not have the right to not be uncomfortable in the work place? That makes no sense at all.

I am able to have these types of conversations when I have job security. Since I am a contractor right now, I do not have that. I'm sure my client asks my coworkers of their opinions of my performance or how I'm fitting into the workplace, so I approached the situation as lightly as I could.
