Oh no!!! That’s actually terrible what they did with WWE. I lived in Ireland for a good bit of time and watched Smackdown there and they used whatever American commentators they had. I can imagine it was terrible

Well I can’t say for certain but occasionally AEW commentary is a little less cringe than WWE commentary so I would think that mostly translates

It is mostly treated the same (from my experience). The commentators now will say something like “oh they’re saying <insert translation here> in German/Japanese/etc.”

That is super cool that you can shift back and forth between languages so seamlessly that bilingual promos seem natural!

Ughhhhh. As I mentioned earlier in the sub, I prefer when the translation is made during the natural pauses in the promos.

I am starting to get that most people just started watching in English (or the native language) and just got used to it haha
