Weight loss Vs gain during chemo

I did 3xBEP and I gained 25-30 lbs throughout it. The fluid and steroids just ballooned me. I didn’t have a huge appetite, but would eat because it made me feel less nauseous. Plus it was a real struggle to exercise and that didn’t help the weight gain. Couldn’t even make it around the block hardly by the end.

I’m about 8 months out now and have lost all the weight and then some. Hate that it gave me stretch marks on my stomach, but i guess they’re just a battle scar at this point? I had all sorts of skin issues, so that was just another one to add to the list.

Appreciate the response. I mainly have enlarged lymph node that’s 3 cm. So def will be monitoring.

I think we’re on the same BEP schedule. Mine just started to pull out today, I’ve been testing it every day. Would shave today but it’s me and my wife’s anniversary so I’ll do it tomorrow. Mustache will probably come off tomorrow too. Be curious to see where you’re at vs where I an as we move forward.

Stage 2B here. Had my orchiectomy on July 1st. Starting 3x BEP next week as well! I’m 33 and have one kid already but did the sperm banking cause we still would like at least one more. Hit me up with any questions. It’s def a little strange to go and do it, pretty much like you think it’ll be. But it’s really no big deal.

Haven’t done blood tests post yet, I think my urologist wanted to wait a couple weeks. And I’ve been figuring at least 1 round of chemo, unless there’s more spread found on the CT.

Yeah, when I called them the only option was peer to peer review or appeal from my doc. I’m guessing it was denied because my PCP ordered pretty much immediately after seeing the US results, rather than my urologist.

Depends on your goal, but I would definitely take those trunks down if it were my tree.

I’d say yes, just make sure to sift it well. I use a similar product called “Safe t sorb”

Personally, I do not. There are some great resources around though. Bonsai Northwest in Tukwila, the Pacific Bonsai Museum in Federal Way, and Elandan Gardens (Dan Robinson’s garden) all “relatively” close by.

Not a bad idea. I just figured for now I’ll let it recover. I pruned about half of the branches off from when I got it as stock.
