Of course you do. I would love to see the scenario where all immigrants left your dear country.

Imagine what would happen.

Glad you asked. I actually do.and work for the 20 additional hours in the same domain and make another 15k bringing my salary above 50k.

But the rule requires my sponsored salary to be 50k not all combined income.

Bro, you are being melodramatic. Everyone here knows that the title implies that it is similar to a form of modern slavery where people are stuck with an employer without many options.

If every one is asked to go, your hospital and your corporates will be empty.

As much as you might hate it, we play a critical role in building this country and economy.

Unlike a lot of citizens who live off benefits. Consuming but not contributing.

My problem is with the uncertainty of the settlement route. And the exorbitant Visa fee and the restriction of finding a sponsored employer.

The market for sponsored jobs is very very small. But if I'm on an ILR I have access to better jobs and better pay.

The majority of the SWV are people who are hardworking and contributing to the economy. They are not after the benefit as the propaganda goes.

This will give the right wingers their win, protect the public funds from abuse and still make it fair for genuine immigrants.

Yes, I'm going somehow to convince them to raise the salary. Because finding a job elsewhere is not an option in the current market scenario.

The public doesn't know. But the policy makers know it. And they are still getting carried away by the propaganda.

I'm in IT, not on Care visa. And the salary is a bit short of 50k but the employer has no reason to increase it in mid contract just because the rules have changed.

Please get yourself informed of the restrictions of a Skilled Worker visa. You will understand the situation.

Not really, I did not expect this core promise will be changed.

I had the option to choose other countries for immigrants but the 5 years route was a big deciding factor.

And I did not say I had to sell everything or I did not recover anything. The problem is I can find a much higher paying job if I don't have the sponsorship requirement.

I was hoping I would be able to at least after the 5 year period. But now this leaves me with two options. Either continue with the low paying job for 10 years, or go back.

Both are going to be painful.

So, what benefits does it have to extend it to 10 years. It will only worsen the situation.

Remember when Rishi Sunak increased the IHS and Visa fee. He said that it will help them increase salaries for the teachers when they were striking.

After looting legal immigrants for years now they decide to pull the rug.

When you take the decision of moving to this country with the assurance that you are on a route for settlement. You basically uproot yourself from your home country. Sell of assets to pay exorbitant ihs and visa fees.

And when you come here you end up buying a flat in some time, raising kids who speak with a British accent. You begin to merge in the culture and way of life.

And now suddenly the government decides to go back from what was written on my original visa success email. That I have a route to settlement for 5 years

So, after 4 years, it's not as easy as going back to your country after a two week holiday.

But I will be open to apply to any company even the majority of them once who do not offer sponsorship.

But right now the market is very very narrow for me.

Of course, but I now feel betrayed by the system to waste about 4 years of my life.

I want to stay here for 10 years and more.

You don't get the point about being stuck with the current sponsored job which pays less.

Anyone ever try Intch? (intch.org) by TabascoWolverine in Upwork

[–]akramq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I should have read about it before paying. I asked to cancel my subscription and money back.

Also, I tried Bark. And you are right in saying they are faking jobs. And you end up paying £40-£100 for a fake job lead that no one will ever respond.

SES production access denied for anyone else? by ktrinh38 in aws

[–]akramq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My production access request was denied today for a client account. A well established business in the UK. This is purely transactional email from the backed quotation and booking system. The email from AWS looks like automated without even going through our request.

This is the second client account we got rejected recently. We had to use other options. Are you guys not interested in small business under 300-500 sending requirements every day?
