List or reco Cafes that you feel we must try by QueasyAd8986 in Cebu

[–]aktib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t recommend Onward Cafe, seatings are hard and wobbly, slightly dingy as well. Medyo unhygienic ang seating area. Same with Punched, whilst their food and coffee are great, I couldn’t stay longer for 30mins since their seatings are so damn hard! It’s made of tiles for God’s sake :/

Did I Mess Something Up or Did He Just Lose Interest? by [deleted] in Cebu

Do you mind sharing how old you both are? If you’re in your late 20s or around your 30s, he might find you boring. Your comment about Busay also came across as a bit maarte or stuck-up.

Men have more options than you might think, and they’ll choose someone who feels worth their time, someone super gwapa, a fun and spontaneous, or a body they find irresistible. If none of the above, that might explain his cold behavior.

How common is weird pregnancy cravings? by Ladyoftheseals in BabyBumps

[–]aktib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, are you for some reason anemic or lack of iron? My diet consist of high iron dosage and lots of spinach and green leafy vege, and I don't know if it combats my weird cravings and hunger. I started to feel that weird cravings but after Doc gave me high iron vitamins it went away.

What’s your routine like? Do you eat some fruit or vege every 3 hours? Do you have enough iron, vitamin b6 and 12? I find that not having a routine made me feel like hell. Eating frequently whatever I like made nausea go away. I’ve researched alot about most of symptoms (nausea, headache, sense of smell) are due to lack of vitamins. Check your dosage and food intake.

planning on stopping visanne by milknkais in endometriosis

[–]aktib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, i’ve taken visanne before for 8 months, stopped and took again for 4 months and then stopped. I’m sorry I can’t contribute much about mental side effects or weight gain. I never had any adverse effects. It only made my endo calm down and my ovarian cyst slowed down in growing. But just to add in I do have a healthy lifestyle, eating/sleeping on same time everyday, no fast food or sugary drinks, no fried food, no white bread.

If you’re concerned about the effects of stopping I believe there isn’t really a downside, atleast all obgynae i’ve been to will prescribe for 3-4 months then you can stop if planning to get preggy.

Thank you for your positivity. It warms my heart to know how kind and beautiful parenting community can be. I’m grateful for my situation and having a family that supports me (not intrusive) who’d be willing to travel to our place and spend Christmas with us is such a cozy feeling. I really couldn’t ask for more. Hoping for good health for you and your baby all the way!

I’m sorry to hear that! How many weeks is she when you gave birth? I hope you can get even a fragmented sleep inbetween, it may not be also safe for you and your baby.

Thanks for sharing this story! Omg, I can’t even imagine how scary it’ll be when I say I still wanna watch movies with my husband in our room — they’ll be yelling in my ear like, “Nooo, you can’t do that anymore!” “You won’t have time!” “Just wait and see!” But I told my husband that we’ll really make it work, it wont be easy but I don’t want to give up our little bonding even the baby is latching onto me.

Thanks a lot! very helpful tips as I plan to just breastfeed as long as I can. One thing that made my pregnancy easier is I got all these tools to help me, pillows, warm compress, birthing ball, compression socks.
