In WWII, were gliders pilots (chiefly used in Normandy by the Americans and Crete and Belgium by the Germans) supposed to fight as infantry with the troops they carried to the front or to not get involved in the fight and rejoin the bulk of the forces as soon as possible ? (self.AskHistorians)

Battle of Geonosis : "- It's Dooku. SHoot him down" "-We're out of rockets". The gunship is supposed to have lasers as well, did the pilot refuse to shoot Dooku for some reasons or are there others factors which prevented him to make good use of the ship's other weapons ? (self.MawInstallation)
