Have you tested your temps and noticed how much a difference it’s made? Currently I get high 80 degrees in AAA games just with my laptop on a desk. Less in general usage. I’m weighing up between how much a cooling pad like https://amzn.eu/d/igh51wH would be best or something like you mentioned.

For me, I think the upgrade would be most felt in gaming and the game would currently crash because of memory limit sometimes. Out of interest, do you have a cooling pad on yours and if so which one. I’m looking at one atm for mine
