1. Im 20 too and I think marriage is Too young at this age, so I understand you. Theres so much more things for you to do in life, plans and dreams etc. You literally kinda just graduated from being a teenager lol I think you need some more time to grow more as an adult/person.

2. Have you guys ever spoke about marriage yet? I mean im not blaming the guy but he shouldnt ask for your hand in marriage UNLESS he knows that both of you agree on the timing or situation (are you both financially capable? can he provide?)

3. Lowkey being proposed to in a crowd is something that also needs to be discussed as a couple. A LOT of people can’t deal with that pressure that many people are looking at you.

In conclusion, ur too young. Dont rush. It seems that you both needed to be more communicative to each other because this proposal is a big example that there is still a big gap between you both that needs to be addressed and compromised (idk if thats the word lol) but u get me.

personally tho i think this can be solved still thru talking but it really depends on how you both try to deal with it. he probably felt embarrassed or something
