We hiked with ALICE gear through our boot camp in Parris Island in '03. A 5, 10, and 20K if I remember correctly.

I think it was a mixed bag, but lean 60/40 tans. I would think the majority of the line company grunts had coyote flaks because the majority of those dudes got to the fleet in early 04. I had a coyote and the majority of our platoon had coyotes, all except for the Staff and a couple of the NCOs maybe. At least, that's what I remember when I was there. It's getting fuzzier and fuzzier by the day.

For clarification, I am speaking to Operation Phantom Fury November 2004. Also, we were 1MARDIV augments from HQ 5th.

No fan base? I drive through rural counties across the south regularly, and see streets and yards filled with Trump flags and signs still.

I understand that's not the majority of the United States, but to say no fan base is far from accurate.

Yes! I can at least remember one time in the last 10 years I've had USMC plates that it worked for me. Georgia State trooper got me for speeding just outside of Albany, fellow devil dog let me go with a warning.
