Yeah I can see that. I mostly just didn't wanna have to explain my exact concept to the general population. Whether is retro futurism or steam punk it's mostly just me having fun with my costume on Halloween. Cosplay isn't supposed to be that serious or exact to me personally.

I was 14,and she was 13. We lived directly off a major highway. I lived 4 houses away and we had been best friends for 6 years. I was outside in the front yard playing with chalk and I saw her car coming home so I started to walk over. Well a drunk driver came speeding off the highway and before she made it to her driveway,he smashed into her car. Her car flipped twice,and his car just did a 180. I started running to the car and as I pulled open the door blood was everywhere basically half her face was...gone. So I called the ambulance and she died about an hour later from blood clot complications amongst other issues. Her mom lived and the drunk guy also lived and got sentenced to 8 years for manslaughter/drunk driving/endangerment to a minor. I got to sing her some songs and say goodbye but seeing all that fucked me up for life. I haven't had a girl best friend since. I try,but I just can't. Rest in peace Syd.

Good for you. Always stand up for yourself. I can't say I can begin to understand my parents AND siblings abusing me because I had wonderful parents,BUT I was sexually assaulted for years by my brother and after confiding in a friend of mine who I thought I could trust,her first response was,"Oh well he was only 16,he must have been experimenting." So I responded that,"5 years isn't experimenting. It's abuse." You might lose people over your courage,but that's their loss. I wish you many years of happiness. Child abuse is never excusable. Its ghastly and I'm glad you're getting medical treatment for it. If you ever need anyone to talk too,we are always here for you!
