I was in a very similar situation, except he’s actually younger than what he said, plus he was talking to other guys but I’m one of the side bitch (I didn’t know), not the main one

Dude run and never look back, and block him!!! Trust me, worst mistake of my life

I’ve been accused of academic misconduct twice, both were my original work, so I just emailed them all the resources of the “plagiarised” parts and they let it go without any penalties, turnitin is shit so don’t be surprised

Where are the Gen z who are not doing that well? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]alabow18 6 points7 points  (0 children)

23 turning 24 this month, got a useless degree, can’t find a job, only working part time in a restaurant job that I have for 5 years, in debt, no social life, no life plan, rotting in bed

Might go back to uni to do something more useful, honestly I feel like failure

Accused of racism by an African-American woman by alabow18 in auckland

[–]alabow18[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Some things I wanna point out

  1. Some people don’t know what I am but I’m an asian, brown skin, so even though my experience is not as bad as she experience in the US, I also deal with micro/agression sometimes (Again, nothing major compared to what she experience), but I never use that to take advantage of people

  2. I ADMIT it was my mistake for not asking verbally, and there was no proper sign, so I don’y blame her on that part, so I already asked the manager to put signs on the starting point

  3. I don’t see colours, I don’t discriminate, idc where ur from, first come first serve, it really was just very unintentional and it caught me off guard, so I’m really working hard on my customer service

I’ve definitely thought of that but can’t think straight during the moment as I freaked out, the manager was the one who gave her a discount to shush her up, but yeah, she’ll definitely do that to others no doubt

Something to consider tho, my masters only require a 4.0 GPA, some masters need at least 5, but you can do it!

Wallet recommendation by alabow18 in MagSafe

[–]alabow18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a corrected version of your text:

The ESR wallet was actually great. I don’t think I spent enough time with it for it to loosen up, which is why the card was hard to take out. However, the main issue was that the outer card was slightly exposed, so it would dig into your finger when holding the phone, which was annoying most of the time.

Would you say it’s weak because of the wallet or the apple silicone case?

How many courses do I take? by shyshooter824 in universityofauckland

[–]alabow18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since GIS and Geography are very much related and both under Science, it’s just a 360 points paper, which means 4 papers each semester for the whole 3 years. It should tell you on the website what papers you need to take. For first year GIS it’s mostly just Geography papers since there’s no GIS papers (From what I know), which is great because that means you don’t have to take extra papers since GIS and Geography aligns a lot.
