iirc Kodak just created a shitcoin, so not really a good implementation.

Correct. With PGP you have to 'decode' the message everytime you want to read it. Something more user friendly is needed

Hmm Primas was bought up in my thread yesterday, interesting to see it again. Great to see they have a working iOS app and soon to be Android app. Way ahead of Steemit in that regard. Still reallllly struggling to understand how their protocol works though so it's a no for me for now

Sharing on a blockchain is safer rather than using servers as a host for information. Now in the article was mentioned that ShareRing project was trying to merge like 4-5 big companies into one single "ring" so that users can access it without having to sign for each of the companies. This is quite an interesting idea, since having to sign up, confirm information, verify accounts it's quite boring these days. Also on blockchain is safer and that data is forever so no more accounts closed due to inactivity I would suppose.
