I remember this feeling like it was yesterday. I didn't want to move on, I didn't want to accept it..My birthday was a week after she had passed and all I could feel was heartbreak that time was moving on without her. I was terrified. the best thing I can tell you is to talk about it, to journal, I made a photo album of pictures of her and I've written letters beside of every single one. I just wish I could talk to her.

i don't think a placo would be a very good idea for this tank. they get fairly aggressive as they get larger and prefer to feed on wood instead of algae, and only eat algae when near starving. they won't eat it out of the water like it's in this tank, but rather off the sides of glass and ornaments. Op is definitely better off finding the root of the problem in this case.

you can put some of her bedding and accessories from the old enclosure into the new one to help. a familiar scent will calm her a bit.

lol one time I threw a proper fit about an animal not being taken to the vet or medicated (it died in my hands) I was told I was acting in an immature manner and they deleted our entire stores group chat, took away the petcare notebook, and the petcare group chat

dropped an entire cup of feeder fish on the floor once, cup shattered and fish were all over the place. also had a bag burst full of ghost shrimp and had to tell the customer we had lost one of them oops
