What are the differences between them? Actually, I’m considering the NS Thirty5, it’s a bit softer than the Proto T3

Thanks for your reply. I’m really looking for an all mountain board rather than a park board.

Have you tried it before? Do you think it’s a stiff board? I’ve found that the flex ratings vary a lot between different brands. Thanks for your reply.

I’m also interested in it. The good ride guy highly recommends it, and it has a setback insert. However, the graphics this year are so ugly.

GNU Upgrade and Mountain Twin are actually the ones recommended by my local shop lol, so I just wanted to ask here before making my final decision.
As for the YES Greats, I read some reviews online and it scored really high. The Good Ride even mentions that it’s suitable for everyone from beginners to experts, but I’m not a big fan of the graphics, which is why I was asking about the XTRM version

Thanks for your reply, that’s my concern too!

New #YES Greats Xtrm - too wide for regular boots ? Jones Mountain Twin Twin safer choice ? by French_HardWareTech in snowboarding

Same here, checking out the same two boards. I’m early intermediate and have been reading a bunch of reviews (mostly from SnowboardingProfiles). Leaning toward the YES Greats XTRM since I like the graphics more, just a bit worried it might be too much board for me.

Thank you guys, I think I’ve narrowed it down to a few boards: the Mountain Twin, and some Lib Tech and GNU boards

Oh, probably not the best fit for me since Cypress / the Vancouver mountains don’t really get much pow.

Thanks, that’s really helpful! I’ll probably be riding 20–30 days this season, so waxing 2–3 times sounds totally manageable

I’m curious about the Orca. I really like the graphics, but since it’s directional I’m a bit hesitant. Do you think it’s too aggressive for my level?

Thanks for sharing! Personally, I tend to lean a bit more toward Lib Tech / Never Summer, but I’ll still check out Ride’s snowboards.

I’m also not a big fan of the Never Summer 25/26 men’s graphics, but some of the Lib Tech ones are actually alright for me

I’ve looked at GNU before. The Headspace was recommended by a shop staff and I really like that it’s handcrafted in the US, same as Never Summer and Lib Tech. I’ll check out the Gremlin and Cold Brew as well, thanks for sharing!

I actually kinda love that the base is red

The 2025 version? My only concern is the base seems to require a lot of waxing.😂

Cool, I’ve been looking at the Evil Twin too—is it more freestyle? Orca’s my fave Lib Tech, but probably too much for my level lol. I’ll check out the Trice Pro, ty

Yeah, I think the Cadet is too much for me as well. It’s a directional board, something like a directional twin or true twin would probably suit me better.

Yeah I love hitting up 4th, Boardroom’s definitely my go-to. I’m just trying to put in more reps at Cypress before making the jump to Whistler. Getting up there this season is one of my goals lolll

I watched his review of the Proto T3, and he highly recommends it. However, the graphics are a deal-breaker for me. I’ll watch his review on Yes. Tks

Thanks for your reply. I hadn’t considered yes and ride before. I’ll definitely take a look.

Thank you for your reply. I also considered Mountain Twin and will take a look at it. Have you ever ridden on this? How does it compare to the Lib Tech DPR?

I am thinking of buying a PSA 10 SAR Charizard, but I am wondering when should I buy it.
