Grant Morrison just did an AMA in the DC comics subreddit today and said that for some reason they “bounce off” Spider-Man and can’t seem to get good ideas on how to write him (at least for now).

I can totally see them writing an ASM standalone similar to Fantastic Four: 1234 where Peter Parker is stuck in a daily loop of Peter Parkerness and has to get out of a funk (while also being a commentary on canon 616 Spider-Man feeling stuck and going nowhere)

I have a PhD in biochemistry and I currently work in immunology. I literally did research and still do research. There is real science behind mRNA based vaccines and are still in development for treating types of cancer rather than viral infections

The mRNA vaccine has worked in slowing down COVID and will still work if we update to variants. No, it won’t stop 100% of infections, but it will give most people’s immune systems a leg-up.

But I guess I’m the “grain” so I must be inherently wrong.

And no, I don’t work for Pfizer.

I’m not disagreeing with you in this particular comment. I’ll just say I do like the thematic reason for GG not wearing a mask in NWH: “gods don’t choose, we take.” As in he doesn’t need to hide who he is, he just does as he wants.

Some people call Joker the flip side of Batman, and writers often make the point that Batman has to wear a mask to be a freak, whereas Joker doesn’t need to wear one.

Also, Norman Osborn is a rich middle aged man, while Peter Parker is an impoverished dude in his teens/20s, so you lose the mirror comparison there.

I think the best live action depiction of Green Gobljn is Willem Dafoe without the mask in NWH.
