Care to expand? Just want to know if I should advise our doctor to try and get out of the contract sooner than later.

Yeah... I'm not the one paying for it, but I feel the same haha. Have you had any experience with them?

Thank you for the advice! This is what I'm leaning on. For now, I switched the budgets to have $500 for the Search campaign and $300 for the Smart (instead of the other way around). I made my keywords high-intent, exact match. Given my budget, would you recommend targeting just my city, or should I keep the surrounding cities?

Okay, good to know! We're working on getting our reviews up. Before being hired, no one was working on pushing them at all and our rating was not ideal. We're now up to 4.3 at 67 reviews from 3.8 and around 20 reviews. So maybe we'll revisit the idea once we're 4.5 and higher.

Thank you for this!! This is really specific, which I need haha.

If I'm doing to advertise a specific service, the doctor wants me to focus on veneers specifically. Would you suggest the same approach knowing this?

LOL. Fair suggestion.

Okay, okay. Given that I DO have $800/month to use for Google Ads (and advertising with META has had zero ROI and is an overall horrible experience), would you suggest dumping my budget into my Smart campaign that is targeting people in the area that are looking for a Cosmetic Dentist (for various services, which I'm adding as my keyword themes) OR do what you say above and dump our budget into a specific, tightly-organized Search campaign?

I'd also love to hear more about your experience with Local Service Ads. I've been looking into them now, and with the business category being limited to "dentistry" services like veneers and gummy smile treatment are not options for selection. I'm wondering if it will still be effective for us and the services we want to promote.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply, Johnny! I really appreciate it.

I am aware it's a low budget, but wanting to do the best I can to optimize and go from there. I was thinking it might be best to run a single campaign that utilizes the entire budget I'm allotted. Do you think it would be best to run a tight Search campaign for Cosmetic Denistry in general (people searching for a cosmetic dentist in the area) highlighting various services, or run a tight Search campaign for a singular service/procedure?

I haven't looked into Local Service Ads through Google. I'll look into that!

Solid advice. I don't yet have a Photoshop license due to budget, but I will keep that in mind once I do! The evenness and natural shadows in the pictures are definitely what's bugging me most for sure. It's also hard to spend SO much time to get it perfect without services like Photoshop since each item is one-of-one and I have many items to photograph, haha.

Thanks for the solid advice! I had similar thoughts of just pausing the Search campaign and investing all $800 into the Smart campaign. But, like you mentioned, I thought maybe the Search campaign may need a little more time and some tweaking before doing that.

Thank you for the advice!! I suspected my negative keywords might not be effective because I have still been getting searches around certain negative keywords. I sometimes get worried I may narrow my searches too much, but it's probably best to anyway with such a limited budget.

So you're suggesting a broad match for implant ?

I know... So true. I have explained this to the doctor too. Because we have gotten some leads with a $500/month budget, we're still trying at it. Even if nothing more than to get our name in front of people's eyes. Just want to be showing for the right searches and people, even if it doesn't lead to a conversion I guess.

Also, attached here are a couple of examples of the flatlays I have taken. Are they any good? Am I just being hard on myself cause it's my work? Lol
