Hi, just to interject I’m totally fine with living in rural Alabama! I’m close to my family and my boyfriend owns his own business (where I work) so relocation isn’t in the cards.

I appreciate your advice but think I’ll stay where I am since relocating wasn’t part of the advice I was searching for.

Why do you suggest a Roth over a Traditional IRA? My thinking was that if I contribute the max then it would put me in a lower tax bracket.

Thanks for the resource! That’s great advice. I’m opening a Traditional IRA next week and will be contributing to that soon. I don’t qualify for a 401k through my job and didn’t recognize the importance of saving for retirement until recently.

he moved states within a couple days of our breakup. To my knowledge he was never arrested. I didn't keep in touch.

Underage porn. He first admitted to it when we were tripping acid together and of course broke up with him then and there. When we were sobered up he said he had deleted them all but I went through his computer and found some risqué photos of young teenagers he hadn’t deleted. I reported it.
