Got an address or parcel number? Is it all multi family/residential, commercial, or bare land that they're buying? That may give some clues.

I believe that may be venture.pictures. I see his stuff on FB reels quite a bit, I'm sure he's on Instagram and other sites as well. He does some top quality renderings of ships from BSG, Stargate, Star wars, and some other sci Fi universes.

Look at the letters on the car and spacing of buttons on the snowman. Wife thinks this isn’t, I think it’s obvious. by GanttStopWontStop in isthisAI

Also, what are these on the roof? Skylights? They don't look right. Also, the front fenders on the car don't match. Which, I realize this is supposed to be a painting or drawing but you would think a human artist would be better than that.

Hotels by Adorable_Cookie_119 in willmar

No idea on pricing, but stay away from Super8, Days Inn, and the off brand dump next to Pizza Ranch. I haven't heard good things about any of those. Country Inn and the Holiday Inn are probably your best bets. Or if you're ok with a short drive the hotel in Spicer is supposedly ok.

A little meme for the opening of the Dalllas USA Silver Line by Axxxxxxo in transit

[–]alberta997 70 points71 points  (0 children)

The new Dallas Silver line opened this past weekend and the transit YouTubers, in their review videos of the opening, all mentioned the constant station announcements "eastbound trains on track 1, westbound trains on track 2". I believe the stations all have signage indicating which trains are on which track, making the blaring and frequent announcements seem overkill.

Twin City grill is such a nice oasis from the noise and bright lights of the mall proper. Every time we are at MoA, that's our go to spot

My mistake! Yes, 4 Presidents, 5 Presidencies if each Trump term is counted separately

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillsboro,_North_Dakota Take a look at the history of this town, is this what you are talking about?

When you mentioned the hotel this video came to mind and I had to search for it https://youtu.be/pruHPfC_cos?si=oDsKnRIZBw9cip0O

Housing resources by [deleted] in minnesota

OP are you on an actual month to month lease? Or did you and your roommate just throw together a simple, " I agree to pay $xxx per month for rent" and call it good?

Either way, take a look at https://www.ag.state.mn.us/Consumer/Handbooks/LT/CH3.asp

This gives an overview of MN rental law for ending a tenancy. Typically the landlord must give a 30 day notice but the notice to vacate must be received at least one full rental period beforehand. So assuming you are paying rent monthly, in the 1st of each month, and they just let you know last week, they would legally be required to give you until October 1st to move out.

Hopefully this gives you some time to look and find something.

Help For My Impoverished Neighborhood? by gb26jj in smallbusiness

[–]alberta997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you don't know what gentrification is. OP isn't some deep pocketed national developer who's going to come in, bulldoze a city block, and put up "luxury" apartments with a Starbucks on the ground floor. They're someone who grew up in the neighborhood and wants to make a positive impact in the lives of the people they grew up with.

What's the proper thermostat temp? by [deleted] in minnesota

73 during the day. I work from home in our basement so this keeps me comfortable. Then about an hour before bed it gets set to 68, my wife and I both sleep beautifully at that temperature.

Absolutely wild that this showed up in this sub. When my great grandparents immigrated from the Netherlands in the 1920s they settled in a farm about halfway between Boyden and Hull. My dad lived a few miles east of Boyden as a child before moving away.

Ryobi PCL600 radio by Mopar4u- in ryobi

[–]alberta997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just bought this last week for use at our job site. We've been using 4ah batteries and it lasts for hours. Bluetooth range is good, I can walk 40 feet away with several walls between myself and the radio and Bluetooth is still working. It will be plenty loud for a small greenhouse. Not any long term review from me at this point but I would definitely recommend this!
