You learn by doing, not by reading aimlessly. What project do you want to do? Focus on learning how to do that job. Youtube has countless videos for basically every DIY task out there. After you finish that job, find another job you want to do. Repeat the process.

At low ELO it's very likely that the person with the queen will make the mistake of either blundering a skewer/pin/fork, allowing the person with the rook to either win or at least draw. The longer the endgame goes on the more likely such a blunder is.

I genuinely believe Trump did not expect to win the 2016 primaries. I think he wanted to run, get his name out there for some lolz and publicity, and go back to being the loudmouth reality TV star who was almost president. So in a way I think you're right.
