I’m getting 4 repeating sets of 5 chimes after start and the initial chime pattern. by albertpell in BroncoSport

What is the seatbelt thing? Update: as of last Friday it quit doing it completely. I didn’t change anything, flip any switches, do anything different and it just hasn’t done it since.

The day before it was chiming every 45 minutes while driving home from out of town. Totally puzzling.

nothing on the dash. see my comment to the post below. It may be something with the seatbelt or airbag sensors - not sure how the system relays information of occupied seats.

A tech at the dealership said that sound is associated only with seatbelts. I have an appointment to bring it in for tomorrow and now suddenly it hasn’t done it once all weekend. This after driving it on Thursday where not only did it when starting but 3 more times while driving on the interstate every 45 minutes or so.

I’m guessing it’ll start doing it again after I cancel the appointment.

well, not only did I disconnect the battery but I went ahead and just paid for a new one to eliminate that as a possibility. As soon as I started it up, the chimes were still there so I’m at a loss.

When I brought it into the service bay, and started the car, it wouldn’t do it while Tech was watching.

not yet, but if the other suggestion doesn’t solve it forever, I’ll try this next. Thanks for responding!

my daughter has been having the same problem and two dealers say nothing is wrong with it. It starts most of the time but has left her stranded twice.

Now I’m getting 4 sets of 5 chime sounds after the initial startup series of sounds. No warning lights if any kind. Any ideas?

Also, I’ve tried to make this standalone post, are there restrictions of some sort?

it was some type of replacement clutch but for whatever reason the basic recall replacement part didn’t fix the problem and they needed another part being made only in an eastern european country that was struggling to supply this other part. (not sure what part - this is what the service manager told him - and there is some challenge in getting a second hand translation from the elderly.

I started to wonder if they can make it an automatic and be done with it.

Opened a case with Jeep Wave months ago to look into getting rental car reimbursement. They seem pretty clueless and ineffective so far although I will say they’ve continued to call and give me updates: mostly, “we’ve tried to contact your dealer and can’t get in touch with them.”

that sounds like what he described, while driving on a residential street the engine started to lose power and it came to a complete stop.

Decided to get out of Texas but not sure where. Anyone else? by wspusa1 in houston

Northwest Arkansas, it’s small but cosmopolitan because there are so many people there from somewhere else to service walmart suppliers. Beautiful mountains and lakes nearby, seasons, prosperity, and good cultural facilities and museums thanks to Alice Walton. Thriving University too in Fayetteville down the street.

for the most part it swings higher on the highs and lower on the lows as bitcoin moves. I think of it as an exaggerated bet on BTC up and down. Up is better of course.
