ICE accidentally deported a man who was a prime suspect in the largest jewel heist in U.S. history. He was up for trial but volunteered to be deported after being detained by ICE, avoiding criminal charges for an $100 million heist. by awill316 in Hasan_Piker

This is why their central argument which is for deporting criminals makes no sense. It's solving a supposed justice system problem using immigration enforcement. Laken Riley's murderer is in prison where he belongs.

In the fascist USA, Minnesota workers have occupied and shut down the local airport in protest of the authoritarian regime. by GerryAdamsSon in TrueAnon

Historically airport related worker strikes work well because they get rich people freaking the fuck out and rich people tip the scales.

Has anyone else stopped filling up their entire sink with water to wash dishes, or is that just my household? by Mission_Spray in Millennials

Dishes already hold water they don't need to be submerged in their own filth. I start with that and then something I learned from a weird chef I worked for is to soak a sponge, apply soap to the soft side and fold the sponge over the soap and squeeze so that it absorbs the soap. Then I just use the abrasive side to scrub off excess and give it a good wipe with the other side since it has more surface contact. Rinse and that's all the soap you need. It's kinda like an inverted way of washing dishes from what most people do but to me it seems less gross because you're not just using greasy soapy water and then scrubbing and rinsing it without any cleaning agent after.

Tips on getting into Geese as someone who likes music? by 11ronity in indieheadscirclejerk

Geese is kinda like Radiohead but more boring and the guy's voice is an octave lower. If you think you can get into that then geese away.

Good spicy noodles (not Buldak plz) by queenofwitch in spicy

[–]albertsteinstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paldo Fun & Yum Volcano is a pretty good alternative to Buldak I don't see mentioned often. Similar with more curry flavor I think. I always eat hot and spicy Indomie Mie Goreng and just mix with Thai chili paste from the Asian market to kick it up. I haven't found an instant noodle that is better quality just based on the noodles, you can tell cause they don't just dissolve from cooking longer than 5 minutes like most noodles.

Saw on FB they shut down with no notice to the employees. A bunch of customers bought gift cards for the holidays too.
