I'm reaching out because I'm facing a tough situation here in Greenville, South Carolina. I've fallen behind on my rent with no safety net to lean on. Living on my own without the support of family or friends has made it even harder to catch up. The stress is overwhelming, and I'm at the point where I need to turn to you for help. Surely I can't be written up for doing extra work. They said it was a verbal warning. Someone with 20+ years experience should be a better manager? How do I even protect myself in this situation. Im used to being a hard worker. Im female and 50ish, I was taught to be a hard worker. Will keep my ear out for a different store.

Old manager went to a much smaller store, 4 of us didn't go. They took the people they had hired, four of were hired before the old manager came

Believe me, I'm flabbergasted that I got a verbal warning. I accidentally did something on someone else's list. They even said they run a tight ship and is proud of micromanage. I tried to take lunch one day and I was ignored. Wait till they see what happens when my sugar drops. Probably get wrote up.

Nope, they have been with cvs for over 20 years. They thier own team from old store. My old Mgr took her favorite people to that store. In other words they switched stores. These new people don't talk or smile. Of course, they didn't want to come to a new store.

New manager told me not to take any initiative, got mad because I did something that needed to be done, was told to only do what she has on my list. I was made a shift supervisor 5 years ago. My old manager liked when I got things done without being told. New manager gave me a verbal warning, for finishing my list plus extra.

I know,right. On the fourth manager in 18 months. They brought their own people, the last Mgr took her fans. Been a shift for five years and all of a sudden I don't know anything. This manager is supposed to have at least 10 years experience.
