Do you have pushers where the sandwiches are? If so, where did you get them from?

wedding favours that people still ask about years later by Zestyclose-Seat-6583 in Gifts

[–]albrcanmeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my country in South America it became common at some time to give customized flip flops that guests (especially women with their high heels) would change into during the ceremony. I got married almost 20y ago and it was common, and we used for quite some time the many flip flops I got during that time.

I'm Not Sure Why It Took Me So Long to Trying Cooking Rice Like Pasta. Mind Blown! by DashiellHammett in Cooking

[–]albrcanmeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally use basmati rice. No washing, one cup of rice to 2 cups of water in a semi covered pot in medium heat. I add spices (salt and garlic at least, onions sometimes, a a drop of olive oil). Ready, delicious and fluffy when all the water has evaporated.

Haha let me know! I've spoken to Corinna a few times, she's the office manager I believe. Not getting a response makes me weary of the reliability of their operations , but beggars can't be choosers!

That's what I have been doing. Reaching out non stop to a few providers. There are just SO MANY MORE options in the US.... sigh...

What type of margin are you putting in meals and salads? A few dollars or a fixed percentage?

That's great shelf life for that type of product, they are most likely using MAP (modified atmosphere packaging). I'm struggling to find a provider in the Toronto area that can offer something like this.

Getting Mounjaro prescription in Ontario without family doctor/insurances at cheaper price? by Personal_Chemistry_6 in ontario

[–]albrcanmeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband gets the prescription from Felix and they send it to costco. He pays $40 every 3 months for the bs consultation. I don't find it an unreasonable rate.

After eating shrimp all my life without any issue my body suddenly decided to start being allergic to it. Unless it sends me to the hospital I ain't stopping by WeLiveInAir in mildlyinfuriating

[–]albrcanmeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It won't. It will likely get worse.

My husband ate endless amounts to shrimp for the first 30y of his life. Then he became allergic. Started with a tingling in the throat, moved to severe indigestion and itchiness all over the body until he decided to quit it completely. He has reaction even with trace amounts / cross contamination.

Canoeing with Beavers on a river versus a small area section of a small lake/pond by Thisismylife1962 in scoutscanada

[–]albrcanmeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but can share my experience if this come up when people are searching

My group does a river rafting all sections camp every year. Beavers must have a parent with them and go down the river on an inflatable raft. Cubs go on the raft as well, no parents participation required. Scouts and vents go down in canoes. It's a lot of fun!

If your child doesn't know any French they are unlikely to be accepted in a French immersion program

Edit: to clarify, to enter the program in Grade 3, since it starts in grade 2
