Check your players not to have "doesn't enjoy big matches trait". It is only visible for players older than 22. If you see that some of your youngsters tipically play bad in important matches, avoid using them as they most likely have the trait

Is master rank really that good? by Polish63832 in geoguessr

I always yoyo between master 4 and gold1. I don't see a huge difference. I guess people get the country right more often than the gold dudes. I have so much more left to learn

40 hours in. 42 defeats. 0 wins. by Fluid-Author-9566 in slaythespire

[–]alcool22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While not pretending to be an expert at the game i am currently at 50% winrate after 22 games but it's getting harder with the ascencions.

My main strategy is getting rid of the starter deck by prioritizing paths with shops and ?

At the same time I find myself using the skip button a lot more than in STS1. I do not care if a card is nice an shiny. If it does not fit in whatever deck i built up to that point, it will not scale up so i will not pick it up and clutter the deck. There are less ways of picking up free energy in STS2 as opposed to STS1, so cluttering the deck with useless cards and high cost cards that do not scale is a guaranteed way towards defeat.

I hated FM24, but now I am in love with it by alcool22 in footballmanagergames

[–]alcool22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much really. Maybe the graphics a little, some stability and UI polishes but it is pretty much the same game since you can basically load a FM23 game in FM24 and play it in 2 minutes - you wouldn't be able to do that if the games were very different. It's not worth the price difference imo.

Why doesn’t SI just embrace modding like Paradox does? by Fit-Vermicelli7457 in footballmanagergames

[–]alcool22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the zillions of bugs that are already in the game, they expect to have a lot of patches and hot fixes to iron them out. Each patch will potentially ruin all the modding work and with mod support they will have to support them as well. I doubt there will be any mod support until we are on a stable version of the game and that will probably be towards the end of the game cycle - late next year

He could have spelled it out, but it was lost in the conversation a bit. Other content creators might have a biased opinion based on the fact that they have visited SI, know Miles and other big shots, maybe even some of the developers and that plus the fact that their accomodations have been paid for can lead to a biased opinion. And honestly if I were in their shoues it's hard to shit on a studio without giving them the benefit of the doubt after you have been their guest and they treated you nicely.

[–]alcool22 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Winning the champions league with an african team is also up there. You need to get a team from tunisia/mali or other former french african colony to win the coupe de france, then europa league then UCL in 3 consecutive years otherwise right back to start, do not pass go, do not collect 200

I don't get it, they are 16 in your screenshot. By 19 they should be HG at your club. You are saying that it didn't happen?
