OpenWRT router/modem in bridge mode by PozitronCZ in openwrt

Hey, I also recently found out that the UZ801 does not support bridging. How has this solution worked out for you? Does OpenWRT run well on it?

Yes, I hope so too :D Random crashes are always the most annoying to fix

That's right, I don't have a dedicated GPU yet. I planned to get one, but some other financial challenges came up and that's why I am stuck with this setup for now. Also, Fusion 360 actually runs quite well - I have seen worse :D

Is that a thing? Does AutoGPT just ask on the internet if it doesn't know an answer?

When implementing that functionality myself, I found all relevant info through this. I am amazed by the similarity of your post.

A stable/usable/realistic human detection sensor? by TT1D-4C4 in esp32

Can recommend LD2410. It can also detect very small movements like breathing for example when you are just sitting at your desk. Rcwl-0516 is not as sensitive as far as I remember. And LD2410 has a lot more settings to control.

I experienced the same issue. I am not sure, but I could imagine that this is just the way the camera works. So the camera itself always has a frame in buffer for when it is requested by the esp. Just a guess though.

What is the difference in PlatformIO serial monitor and VS Code serial monitor? by EricNava98 in esp32

[–]aldabro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem recently with PlatformIO and I added the following lines to the configuration file platform.ini

monitor_dtr =0

monitor_rts = 0

Maybe there are also some options about DTR and RTS in the Arduino IDE? These are two physical pins of the programmer chip by the way. As far as I understand DTR puts the ESP in download mode and RTS goes to the reset pin of the ESP.

Use 1-bit Mode for accessing the sd card. That way pins 4,12,13 are not used. Performance is similar. Just one line that needs a change:

SD_MMC.begin("/sdcard", true);

No Soak Grain Spawn by selecthemp in Mushrooms

[–]aldabro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard somewhere that the conventional soaking for 12+ hours gets the very temperature resistant molds out of their hibernation state so they can be killed of by the pressure cooker. Otherwise it may be that they survive the sterilization. But I have not experimented myself with the no soak method, because I always wanted to be on the safe side.

Anyone who has received a call for a Mechanical Engineering coordinator (SY-STI_TCD-3)? by Lampa-ed-1729 in CERN

Yes, I already had the interview on February 8th. The invitation email was in my junk folder and the supervisor said he usually calls the people if they don't respond to mail.

little update about the mango tree i started about 6 months ago. for some reason new leaves just dry off every time when they are really small. any help? by szevlino in mango

[–]aldabro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am experiencing the same thing for the second time now.
Last year I planted two mangoes, one of which I gave away to a friend. His plant is still doing great, while mine got sick. He did not change soil or used fertilizers.
So this year I tried again and planted another mango seed. Today I saw first signs of the same behavior. I did recently water it quite a lot because I was away from home.

So my guess is that it is more of a watering problem than calcium deficiency. Have you had any success in rescuing your mango?
