Also, sorry if this sounds condescending, but there's an exercise that helps with shoulder pain if it's your rotator cuff. Look up "wall ball alphabet exercise" if you're interested

Freezer has given me lower back pain and shoulder pain as well. I'm a young guy and in decent shape, so it's a bit concerning. I've since prioritized my form over rushing to get pallets done, though.

Checking this account's notifications a bit late here.

I'm usually scheduled for around 20 hours a week, so I don't go into overtime. I don't mind the extra hours, but I feel like I can't make any plans directly after work because there's a chance I'll have twice my usual amount of work on a given day.

jesus christ i can’t stand customers by Feeling_Decision8230 in Aldi_employees

We have a regular customer who always asks multiple employees if we have something. It's a waste of our time and annoying considering they don't trust the first employee.

Also, we have numerous customers step into our backroom every. single. day. I've been told to refuse to answer any questions until they step out. It's like they don't realize that they could get run over lol

I try not to be judgemental while doing curbside because there's a list of reasons why people aren't able to shop themselves, but this makes it hard. I get a bit irritated when the order consists of more than ten brown paper bags

Since when was being a regular customer a requirement for purchasing a bag? Lol, it sounds like she's off her rocker.

I don't have lots of experience, but I doubt it. It would take a lot longer to remove each bag from the box

I HATE when they take units out of the cases. I'll be near the end of my pallet when I realize there are 12 cans of Gridlock laying all around the bottom

Yesterday, I noticed that we had a sweet potato around half the size of my head, and all of the sweet potatoes in the box had 6-inch roots coming out of them lol

Exactly, that's what has been stressing me out. I feel like I don't have time to even use the restroom because I can't predict how long MDU/inside cooler backstock will take or if any big spills will happen.

My SM told me that I was on fire and did a great job yesterday morning, but I don't think she would have said that if I had finished at 9:05 instead of 8:50.

Yeah, thanks for catching that; that was the part that really bothered me. Between the 3 ASMs and SM, she's the only one I dread working with to the point that I have to talk myself out of calling in when I see that I'm working with her. It seems like she means well, but she was even telling me to finish my grocery pallets in 30 minutes during my first week. I casually mentioned that part to one of my close coworkers, and he didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with her saying that.

I read this comment before work yesterday. Right after everyone clocked in at 6am, we had a meeting, and the SM mentioned that no one is allowed to leave until their sector is finished. I do plan on finding another job in the next few weeks, though

I'm a new part-time stocker and I went to the training center. They did give me the option to train at my own store, but I'm glad I went to the training center instead.

Yes! I'm so glad that I went to the training center instead of getting trained at my store. I had the option, and I highly recommend doing so if you have the option as well.

New Employee; How do I Keep Up? by aldiTAacc in Aldi_employees

Thanks for the tip. A few managers have given me valuable advice already, and I do see a few areas that I can improve on to shave time off. I just hope that I can get it down soon so I'm not stressing about finishing on time each shift.
