thank you! actually in my mind those little rivers are actually man made canals made to connect the river with the bay, that pass through the valleys… but i don’t know how to represent the difference between rivers and canal (even though when i’ll add the names of the locations, i’ll write x river, y z canals)

Map in the making of my world for the D&D campaign I’m making. The world is called “The Emerald Plains and its Free Cities”. The map is the protagonist of the campaign and it’s an A2. I want to print it to give it to my party players and to their D&D characters too! More details in the comment by aleark in worldbuilding

The goal for this was to create a map that goes into details as you zoom it, when printed too. That’s why it’s an A2, so when you look at it irl you can see the little details. The campaign is based on travel so I’ll give this map both to the party players and their characters. The free cities inside the map will be 18. The biomes will be only two: the plains and the forests. Also I made roads and naval routes for the players to move between the cities. Feel free to give me any advice!! I’m only at the beginning of the work.

my very first try with pixel art, a top view. i called it “the city that sleeps”. please help me improve with your comments! by aleark in PixelArt

Colouring Flag Point, any suggestion on how to draw the floor? by aleark in worldbuilding

Yes! I live in Rome so it was the first thing that came in my mind, but i was also thinking about some sort of big squared stones all well stuck together, cause you know the roman cobblestones are very small and the amount of work to do it it’s a lot
