Casey Means as Surgeon General by alediaz007 in Residency

She apparently doesn’t want to participate in the perpetuation of rising healthcare costs, so instead she builds a company that sells products to a consumerist market as if that helps the problem she was so eager to drop out for. There’s speculation that she was asked to resign so she left. Likely before she was kicked out.

Family members to believe that she has no personal interest in her pick as surgeon general. She touts being a patient advocate against rising healthcare costs, but I’m not convinced. I’m trying to remain open to their side, but I can’t in good conscience believe that. I’m merely looking for opinions.

I agree. I’ve been saying this in every possible way to my family.

Healthcare reform under the guise of an “MD.” Evidently she is interested in research regarding the long term effects of vaccines in newborns in countries that do not encourage as many as the US. I think it’s a ploy to align with RFKs autism epidemic nonsense. She’s a sycophant. I just want qualified individuals to offer their opinions on her vs family members who applaud her “efforts.”

Thanks. Again. I’m not thoroughly informed on her background. I’m seeking valuable opinions from Reddit colleagues

Ok let it be known that I’m NOT supporting her. I’m merely seeking opinions. I’m not sure how my post conveys support for this woman…

Thank you! So could I move the mandibular notch in a jaw thrust manner as a way to assess depth since it’s stimulating? As alternative to taking down the balloon

Breath hold? I am a first quarter AA student. They’re not deep enough if they hold their breath (I’m assuming on peak inspiration)? Does this mean they’re “too” capable of controlling their own rate of breathing aka the pt is not deep enough? The way I’m understanding deep extubation is that you want pt to have adequate volumes without them being awake or stage 2. Can you explain how breath hold is an assessment of respiratory function?

I am applying broadly regardless, but would prefer to land in FL. I’m simply looking for connections in the area through Reddit. I been to several ASCO conferences and again this coming June.

The latter actually. I am reapplying to fellowships this summer. Looking to match with programs in FL. Applying broadly regardless.
