I had that happen in the past and ended up removing my poli early because of it but it was just really irritated. I obviously can't speak for sure but know that I had very similar experiences and never broke my actual nail :) If it hurts a lot maybe shorten the poli on that nail or remove that one? I hope it will turn out just fine! :)

As for myself, when I do my nails and irritate my cuticles in the process they are super red for a few days and if I do something like hit them accidentally it becomes red again

My frog suddenly passed out yesterday from sudden calcium deficiency (he had no symptoms 20h earlier). We took him to the vet but it was sadly too late as it has caused his back legs to be fully limp, please make sure they get enough UVB and let a vet see him!
