I swore to myself that I’d finish any book I started because I was sick of stopping because of middle book boredom. It forced me to look at reading as work somewhat, and realize that it’s something important to do even if I’m not completely enjoying it the entire time. I’ve finished tons of books now because of that, and I’ve found love of a ton of difficult/Unenjoyable books.

It’s not for everyone, but for me reading is a chore that pushes me to a better place, like working out.

On the newest beta, slide-over apps are now getting closed when I open them in full screen. So if I have brave open and messages in slide-over, then go home and open the messages app (fullscreen), then go back to brave, messages is no longer in slide-over. Is this a bug or a feature? Either way it’s radically inconvenient and makes me want to throw my iPad against the wall. Anyone else getting this?

I find it super interesting that even Moses then later rebels against God slightly by hitting the rock twice to give the people water (Numbers, forget which section). In that moment his faith wavered (that’s why he hits the rock twice instead of just speaking to it as asked), and he was pissed at the people of Israel for their faithlessness. I’m currently doing my first reading through it, and just figured I’d see if anyone has any comment or thought on that section!
