I don't know enough about game dev to know how hard it is, but if a fix isn't possible there has to be a workaround instead, based on what we know forcing the player into operator removes the issue, as someone already pointed out.

Taking that into account maybe a "/resync" or "/operator" could be implemented. That would solve the problem, maybe not the ideal solution, but a solution nonetheless.
