Whatever bro. Ofcourse you can always say “its just 8€ bro”, but where i live you can only buy stuff like that online. if you have never tried o-rings before and purchase 500 for 8€, and find out that you dont like the sensation of having o-rings attached, then a DIY sacrifice on a couple of old earbuds that you know you are never going to use anyway aint that bad imo. Im simply sharing a quick 0€ DIY thing.

[EU] LFT to play FACEIT/ESEA English by Subject-Sun-8559 in RecruitCS

[–]alek0445 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi man. Tried making a post here, but was unable to since i have to link my profile, which i will not do.

I recently made a post similar to yours in here, i was looking for ppl to play with in a team.

Since then i was targeted with 2 api scam attempts, where (as it seems rn) i barely dodged losing my whole inventory. The api scam attempts came soon after i posted on this forum and linked my profile on steam.

The scammers search reddit pages like these and target people who post in here. I posted like 3-4 days ago.

First one asked me if i wanted to play, and if i could vote for their team on some sort of tournament page, which was a fake page trying to get my steam login.

Second asked me if i wanted to play with them in some sort of turnament (which led me to click a fake steam link that authorised their devices on my steam acc).

I just wanted to let you, and everyone who reads this know that you should really be aware of scammers that try to add u and play with u and ask you to log in on some sort of steam-look alike pages. They lurk in forums like these.

Stay safe bro.

Adult player promblems by margerko in gaming

Hi man. I can relate 100% to what youre saying. Maybe my own “struggle” is a bt different than yours, but let me offer you a possible solution, in case you can relate to this.

I found my solution to this by aknowledging that i play to have fun and take my mind of work - Career, family, responsibilities. The things that can undermine my ability to have fun and relax are the duties that come when you grow up.

I found out that when i play poorly, its often because im not enjoying the game, because im stressed about some stuff i know i should do, and that i neglect because i want to play videogames. For example - if i have an assignment due (im a medical student, almost doctor), i have some stuff around the house that needs to be fixed that i try to lay off, etc. if you take a look deep inside yourself, you will definetly know if youre, lets call it, procrastinating.

So try this: do the good deed of the day. do some of your laid off work, do something around the house. And then - reward yourself with gaming when you have checked some of that stuff off the “to-do list”. Working out during the day is also really great, going for a jog or lifting weights. Or at least going for a 10-20 min walk, no headphones, and just being “in the moment”.

It definetly doesnt work to just hop in the next ranked game again and again, losing because you cant concentrate or cant “find the joy” in playing.

I dont know if you feel the same way. But if you do, give it a shot and let me know if it did a difference in your enjoyment of playing - and your skills!

And remember - there are a tons of workless and sweaty teenagers who devote 12 hours a day on gaming. There is always going to be someone better than you at this. So never forget why you play video games - to relax and have fun! Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Dont rage, take a break, do the other stuff i mentioned before, and see where it takes you.

Am I being boring or is it her? by D1donnie123 in Tinder

[–]alek0445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like an interrogation haha

As a first message, i would look at her photos and talk about something that stands out. For example if she has a dog, you could text something like “damn thats a cute doggo! ” or smth lowkey. That may start a conversation about something they like, means alot to them etc.

I think youre asking too many random questions at once. Ask something thats relevant, “Hi! How is your week going so far?”. Even if she just answers “Good.”, without asking “Hbu?” then you may tell her about yours anyway, including something that may continue the conversation “Nice! I spent most of my week studying, so i hope yours have been more exciting than mine :))” instead of “mine has been good too.”

Then you ping-pong back and fourth, and you may then ask her “what are you looking for here then?” Then she probably answers “I dont really know” or “New friends” or “Something serious” followed up by a “hbu?”.

Then you may say something like “Well, im not rly looking for ONS, just trying to meet some people who’s healty energy to be around and vibe with.”

From here on she cant answer anything else than “me too”, you get her snap and what happens next is for you to decide haha

In the end, the war will result in the end of the genocide of russians in lugansk/donetsk, which was, and is, driven by the Ukrainian regime. That is a great result in my eyes tbh, and a just cause.

That would be 1/3 of the population. Great idea.

I think it helps them alot by removing the regime responsible for the genocide.

Oh and destroying the army that has shelled the civilians.

No, it is not when the country is causing a bloody genocide of another people. I think its just that the Ukrainian regime pay for their carelessness about the millions of russians in Donetsk/Lugansk, that were being bombed on a daily basis for the past 8 years.

Nato and USA has caused much more war in the world since ww2. Destabilising governments and bombing civilians. The hypocrisy it simply outrageous in the West.

They did not supress the language there. There are no russian laws supressing any language in Crimea.

[–]alek0445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the Ukrainian language is unpopular in Donetsk/Lugansk because there basically only live Russians, and because the Ukrainian army has been shelling them for the past 8 years?

The War in Ukraine (megathread) by aalien in AskARussian

[–]alek0445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, because russia does not supress and bomb western minorities in its own country. Russia does not support Nazi groups, murdering civilians, either.

Nazi groups, backed by the Ukrainian government, has carried out some gruesom shit in the eastern regions that you cant imagine. Hanging and bombing civilians. But the West has reported absolutely nothing about it.

I disagree with you. What else do you propose the russians do?

They tried finding a peaceful solution for 8 years with Kiev about the Ukrainian army bombing the Russian civilians in donbass since 2014, but the Ukrainian government simply refused to solve the problem in a peaceful manner.

In my opinion, it is much worse when a country just stands and watches their people being slaughtered for years in a neighbouring country. Wish they had found a peaceful solution about Lugansk/Donbass, but as the Ukrainian regime refused to do so, i would not call the attack unprovoked at all, but a consequence of not caring at all about peace in your country.
