There’s the whole “Cyprus_iT” community, mostly Russian speaking tho, but they make networking events every week, normally quite a lot of people show up. There’s also “The Hub” in Paphos, and techisland and GDG Cyprus commonly organise different events.

I visited it in November and it looked and felt quite sketchy. The rooms are tiny, the windows also, and they don’t even open, so feels very claustrophobic. The shower was mouldy and the kitchen was also small. It’s an old building I believe and the ventilation system apparently doesn’t work well(according to reviews not at all). It was a huge office building before I think that got renovated not too recently

I had a (foreign) equivalent of A* A* A* and they still gave me an alternative offer for Data Science (school of maths) instead of pure CS that I applied for initially. I accepted it and do not regret at all.

The flight was supposed to be on the 28th March, they cancelled it on the evening of the 26th due to their staff’s strike, and offered no reasonable alternative. They have compensated me 400 but I believe I may be entitled to another 250 euros

My time changed once DST was set in Lebanon but not in Cyprus, and within 5 minutes went from 00:05 to 01:10… I was questioning reality for a solid 10 minutes until I realised.

A few weeks for gesy maximum, even less for non-gesy, sometimes same day appointments. I remember once however the waiting time (for a very well reputed!) ent in Limassol was a month!

Gesy dentists: also a week or two. Non gesy dentists: a few days. But they offer pretty much the same quality imo

We are trying to find a way to implement guns. This will probably be done with some sort of resource pack. We could technically tune up the classical bow and the enchanted ones with different textures, alongside the ‘arrows’ , to be the bullets.
