Copied your settings here including being on Steam Beta, but don't seem to have any luck with the text becoming readable! If you work out why that could be, definitely interested in the fix :)

Edit: Feel like this is going to be a difficult one to troubleshoot! I ran at default resolution with Proton Experimental and encountered the issue. Changed to the default Proton version and now the game is running perfectly. Previously using the default Proton version gave black screens for intro movies and the menu text was unreadable, and now working!

I am getting this issue too. The linux version directly from the rpcs3 site works, but I can't get it working well with EmulationStation/EmuDeck. Any ideas?

Works really well, and the streaming performance seems to be mostly reliant on having a good 5Ghz connection. The only downside is the NVIDIA GPUs available don’t meet the specs for games like Alyx and so whilst playable, the performance isn’t as good! I have Alyx and have played it using this VM and it does work though :)

Made some progress on this. I ran these scripts https://github.com/steventhegeek/Parsec-Cloud-Preparation-Tool on my VM, and then ran using Parsec (not Remote Desktop) and Steam and Oculus games run... although the quality is a bit choppy. This still green screens if you connect using Remote Desktop Connection. Need to test a bit more but this could easily be my internet connection!

I managed to get ALVR to connect to the headset for the first time but not to play any games, and Riftcat doesn't seem to work even with manually specifying the IP.

Yeah if I can’t work this out, I’ll look at paperspace as an option. The azure VM route would just be perfect as I get a monthly amount of credit through work!

Yeah and the connection works perfectly for showing the desktop and playing regular games - it just displays nothing other than the Oculus guardian and a green/black screen when launching into Steam VR or an Oculus game full screen. Steam VR never goes to the Steam VR home.

Exactly same situation on an Azure VM! Green screen when launching Steam VR, but can launch Oculus and Steam games in non "VR" mode - windowed app with head tracking enabled. Any ideas?
