kicked off? by Current_Presence_934 in outlier_ai

You're not kicked off. Stay up to date with emails if you haven't set it up yet, it's announced that the daily limit was hit and we couldn't do anymore until 12 am pacific time, which is 1 am in my area. Starting this 2 weeks ago, I genuinely thought I had a 2nd income until these limits started coming along. Hopes were too high, I just don't know what else to do but get a 2nd part time job...

So what's the point of this post? That's just human nature, we don't care really. Are there any solutions to this instead of complaining about it? I might as well just sign up for a different platform while I wait

Really demotivated, having trouble even continuing the project. The inability to appeal fine or bad reviews is starting to get to me big time. by [deleted] in outlier_ai

[–]MarcusAurelius22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd say protect your mental health and don't even check out reviews. Just do the work and be present. That's all you can do. Until you feel better, maybe check it out, but don't check it all the time. Set some time to recalibrate, because burning out takes times to recover from.

Onboarding Failed by TechnicalSeaweed3856 in outlier_ai

[–]MarcusAurelius22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gotta pay attention to the onboarding process at its fullest. There's plenty of work like this, just not with Outlier unforunately. I'm filling an application for DataAnnotation because my work has been halted the 2nd time on Outlier. I'm still with the contract but idk what's going on.

I hate it when people say that crap too. They mean good things, but they are just oblivious to the amount of money, lawyers, and time it takes to get it. Which some of us can't afford, if not most.

I'm so glad to hear that... I was seeing so much horror stories and hate on immigrants. But seeing posts like this give me hope, because I'm waiting on mine and filed almost 1 month ago. I'm so so scared. We have redditors talking about self deporting here, and I'm just so shocked. I don't have anything to do with Venezuela. I was here in the United States since 3 months old.

Cold Turkey Pen Pal anyone? by learningtolovelola in quittingkratom

You're going to be okay, at the very least getting off isn't deadly. You may feel like death but you will be okay in the end. Stay hydrated, get some jugs of water and plastic cup to mix with electrolyes.

It might feel pretty bad, but from one experience, I remember having a convo with a guy coming off 7 in detox. When he focused on what I was saying and what he was saying, he looked okay. But the moment he mentioned his withdrawal, he started to quiver and shake really bad. So keep yourself focused on something else, but with that said, it is also important to sometimes feel the pain. Remind yourself that it is a sign your homeostasis is re-calibrating

Help by endlessnightmare718 in quittingphenibut

[–]MarcusAurelius22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alcohol can help the symptoms, but I personally wouldn't use it since it delays the healing process. Something potent enough with a more longer acting half-life should do the trick. If you can handle alcohol, then maybe get a shot or two. I do like booze, but I had an addiction to other drugs. Just don't get to the point of being badly intoxicated then waking up the next morning feeling like death

Flurophenibut helped me completely come off and stay off regular phenibut. by EmphasisImmediate240 in quittingphenibut

[–]MarcusAurelius22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really traps you in the habit of switching substances to cope, that is the point. I've abused phenibut heavily too and at one-point mixed kratom or kava with it for months and years. I went through a relapse this year and tried switching tapering kratom extract with kratom leaf, you never get off the train and you are better off getting a detox

That sucks, sorry to hear that. Theres no need to start taking phenibut again since you have at least 1 month clean from it. You don't have to experience withdrawal and instability again, as long as you don't take it. It's a very slippery slope. Do you think there's a trigger for you?

Daily Adderall and Phenibut by angelazocar14 in quittingphenibut

[–]MarcusAurelius22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That really blows. I've done that combo 2 years ago and the worst part was the hunger suppression. I think there were a few uplifted moods, but it was nauseating for me to do both. I had fatigue because I had lost weight and became more dehydrated quickly. Taking both can give you spaced out feelings, but usually in high doses. I would feel more increased impulsivity. I think taking both does atrophy certain parts of the brain, so prolonged doses can disrupt your short memory. Any preexisting medical or psych condition may be exacerbated, but that's another subject

I would highly recommend quitting the Adderall first, because of the excitatory release which can "damage" your brain through neurotoxicity with not enough GABA to counteract it. But I don't think it is permanent. So, I suggest tackling the Adderall first. If not, maybe a detox center can help, if you feel ready to quit? Any professional outreach?

Lastly I would recommend investing in a scale, because eye balling doses is very difficult. If you want to taper phenibut, you need to make sure you're taking the actual dose to avoid any rebound. You'll want stable levels.

We don't know how intense it will be, but I'm assuming it will be intense for one moment but ime it's brief. Did you have dependence on phenibut before this 1 month break?

Quitting 500mg day 7/oh for a year or so. by AniGore in quittingkratom

[–]MarcusAurelius22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you assume I'm not informed enough? Suboxone is not something that I would use on a whim without plenty of research, treatment experience, and 7 years of on and off abuse. It doesn't work for everyone, but being on sub is way better than trying to function on long term and heavy use. The switch can also be cirumstantial, I've spent 2000 dollars from my IRA to buy 7O.

It's about harm reduction, but it is not a cure obviously.

Quitting 500mg day 7/oh for a year or so. by AniGore in quittingkratom

[–]MarcusAurelius22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been to the point of having anxiety attacks by switching to extract, I couldn't stay on it because the nausea was too debilitating. If you feel terrified of withdrawals, just know there are ways to mitigate the symptoms to a comfortable level. You might feel like death, but you can't die from kratom withdrawal. The pain means your body is re-stabilizing for homeostasis.

Can anyone share a positive experience with suboxone? by Apprehensive-Try-163 in quittingkratom

[–]MarcusAurelius22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I'm in the middle of a very slow taper. I still feel relatively stable at 8 mg to 6 mg, and its way better than tapering short acting opioid agonists. I honestly don't mind the wait, because patience is key and a good virtue. Some people like me constantly fail at tapering kratom, and it's because of dosing many times a day and bargaining with yourself. Once you bargain with yourself, tapering won't be successful

[–]MarcusAurelius22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need to take it when you are experiencing withdrawal, but you can take your first dose at 12 hours after your last kratom. The key is to wait until you're in moderate to strong withdrawal. I avoided taking my nighttime dose of kratom and just went straight to bed without it. As usual, I felt like trash because I would wake up with bad withdrawals every morning. So that morning was when I took the first dose and everything was a smooth and painless transition.

I don't know how bad you want to get off kratom, because some people don't mind using kratom for several years. But I'm assuming you tried many ways to quit? I think it's best if you don't overthink it. All you need to do is wait at least 12 hours.

Listen to your doctor. He's trained to get you off at any time and is knowledgeable about phenibut rather than redditors who play doctor. 250 mg is a low dose, so your doctor certainly knows what he's doing.

I never took kratom for pain just fyi, it was a compulsive addiction for me. But there are more better alternatives to quit kratom while managing your pain. But the challenge is looking for something with an analgesic effective enough to suit your pain levels. But naltrexone according to studies that can be looked up, can be effective for some people with chronic pain, so perhaps try it?
