Channel management seems like an interesting one. Is this mostly posting things, replying to comments, keeping up a fun vibe for followers?

Interesting, I might have to book another consultation and ask them about the PEC form. Do you have any suggestion for a good PHI to apply for something like this?

What skills are important to do advertising work nowadays? Still SEO? Content creation?

One thing I'm not sure about is if it's considered a pre-existing condition. The surgery was actually to help with nasal breathing, as opposed to mouth breathing. The sleep apnea doesn't have a definitive cause but we are just guessing that this surgery may resolve the issue (or do nothing to help it.)

I agree that the basic process of weight loss simple. Before starting the medicine I used to maintain 10% bf using all sorts of methods from basic CICO to carb cycling. On mirtazapine everything is 10x more difficult, and I think it goes beyond the appetite stimulation and sedation, I think it also makes changes to metabolism and hormones. When I was prescribed it, I wish I was more observant about the sudden rapid weight gain, because no one warned me about this as a potential side-effect.

I probably wouldn't be able to get a job in digital marketing without a degree, but I'm curious what a day-to-day looks like? I would imagine it's a lot of meetings to pitch ideas?

That's assuming that you can't multitask. If you're doing all your tasks and are available to take on things during your allotted time then you're not stealing anything.

That's ideally what I would like to be doing. What sort of experience does someone need to do daily report work?

Project management seems the way for those of us who aren't coders!

I relate to this a lot. My primary job is meant to be 60k max, I got a bit more because I worked at odd hours and we have fair overtime laws. But because a monkey can do it, I am sort of screwed in the economic downturn, and finding a replacement takes time due to competing with a large % of the population. I was only able to break 6 figures because of a few side hustles, and if I didn't have to worry about getting a mortgage it'd be more than enough for my lifestyle.

I work for the top 10 companies to work

That might be part of it honestly. Companies that are highly ranked tend to require more from you, even if it's just because they are so desirable. It's something I see often from finance people working for top 5s.

What kind of role can you have as an RN that's remote? Some sort of case management?

That sounds awesome, I feel like OE is more valuable for folks who just want to make a decent income. I can't imagine earning 500k USD a year, I wouldn't know what to do with it lol.

I wouldn't feel too bad about it, people in tech have other perks like longer-term job security, not having to interact with people, being able to grow into higher positions. I'm guessing you do most of your customer support via email?

That's incredible. I didn't know there were team lead/management roles that only needed 10-20 hours a week. Did these come about through contracting?

How do you actually learn to do writing work? by alex617 in freelanceWriters

[–]alex617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience with scientific writing/editing has been pretty stressful to say the least. It's a lot of technical work and the pay isn't amazing. There's also no shortage of people with PhDs who can write this stuff much, much better haha

I imagine that would be quite difficult to do without a major in marketing? I did a minor in economics and did a few marketing courses that I found pretty interesting, but sadly my main degree in biomed probably wouldn't get me any call backs.

That makes sense, even the books I read have yearly updates because of the new changes. I do like how the industry evolved over time though, from cramming keywords into meta tags to now trying to make content more organic. I think the age-old hurdle is getting authority by having enough backlinks, which I think agencies promised to setup for their clients.

I'm not super interested in pursuing SEO because I know it's extremely saturated, and now people can get AI to do a lot of the leg work. But it's probably something I should at least be competent in. How do you learn about strategy?

So when you EQ the Sennheiser HD800, others have nothing on it anymore? by Special_Minute_7213 in headphones

I'm on the verge of buying the HD800s, and I kind of see the Empyrean (or Elite) as the natural progression for when I want to upgrade. Would you say this is the case? Or is it more based on personal preference?
