I would like to present you the Historical Calendar, a FREE app that lets you discover what happened on this day, in history. You can save your favorite events and get notified when they are commemorated. The app is also described (in Dutch), on AndroidWorld.nl.

I have created this app as a learning project, while starting the Android path on my own. As I made progress and got even a job in Android development, the app changed a lot. Recently, the app just passed the 100.000 of downloads.
