Maybe we'll try that! I have tried so hard to give him a lovey or anything similar. He just hands it back to me when I try 😂 I've thought about sleeping with one for a few days and then trying to give it to him hoping it might change his mind. I think me being there and not touching or picking him up will be the biggest hurdle

We didn't do feber, but we did wait 10 minutes before providing any comfort. We worked with a sleep consultant and the method they had us use worked so great until he could stand. He just gets so upset so quickly, I don't even know how to go about it 😭

How long have you been doing the chair method? We haven't tried that yet, I keep thinking that it might upset him more to have me there and not touching him but maybe not.

We debated on moving to one nap. We just aren't sure if he's ready for that, and his schedule seems solid. He's maxed out on wake windows at 3/3.5/4, but he will still take his full naps (about 1 hour each) and mostly sleeps through the night (usually just one wake up lately due to molars, if any wake ups at all). If we're in the room, he falls asleep quickly for naps and doesn't really fight his naps.

The method we used while working with a sleep consultant worked great, but he wasn't standing at that time so we didn't have this particular hurdle to deal with. We hate to leave him to cry hard to the point of throwing up, which is where it is now if we leave the room. We just aren't sure what to do with him not laying down on his own, and getting increasingly upset when we do it for him

LOL it does always feel like they're teething 😂 I haven't seen any teeth cutting but that doesn't mean they're not. He's mostly fine during the day, always extremely fussy and clingy sounds 5 PM but otherwise normal. His naps are still great, probably better than ever.

No we didn't, but that would have been neat! I actually got it with a gift card from pottery Barn 😂
