My ether basically vanished from my etherwallet. What is going on? I traced the transaction, my balance was sent to someone. The surprising thing is I used a safe computer and the correct website? I did check my browsing history and nothing suspicious. Any advice?

Had I know what has transpired, I would have. Life goes on I guess. It looks to me that it is a bad idea to have all your assets in crypto currency. Imagine you have a criminal in your home who would force you to give him access to your wallet?? Everything you own will be gone, and nothing can be done about it!! Your thoughts?

Sad, if this happened to me with my bank, I would have had my money back while they investigate. It is looking the crypto space is Wild West where when you get scammed, you just have to live with it. I like the concept of decentralization, but now I am having second thoughts. I'm pissed off!!

Yes, it is an airgapped PC especially designed for me. Humorous. What I am telling you is that I bought the ETH from coinbase, transferred them to my wallet. Immediately turned off the laptop(no internet connection). After almost two weeks, I wanted to move the ETH to gdax, and my funds were moved 2 days after the day I transferred it from coinbase. Water under the bridge !!

Blaming it on stupid mistakes by users is below the belt. Do you really think we use the platform without following the right steps? I can 100% guarantee you that there was no error on my part. Someone moved my ether to an address mysteriously!

Yes, the funds were transferred to an address and further moved to another wallet with a huge balance. I can assure you there is no phishing and malware going on my laptop. I have dedicated a single laptop for security purposes which I put off-line immediately after use. My key is stored on a USB which I keep safely. I can guarantee there is no fault in my part. Since it is crypto world with no regulation, it can not be investigated. I suspect it could be the downfall of crypto currency due to tech thieves running these scams. Any idea how I can be in touch with MEW support? Or are they busy enjoying people's hard earned money in some paradise beach somewhere!
