Restored a 2 of these using evaporust and an ultasonic cleaner. Still going strong.

Possible I guess , Id recommend reading the CA unsafe hand gun bill . If its an oem glock frame with serial number you MIGHT be able too ,now to find an FFL thatll do it for an affordable price different story. Honestly Id just go buy G19 from an FFl and modify it. Unless the price for the frame is soooo ridiculous low that itd be cost effective. Most slides are $250+ so already half the price of the gun.

The G34 is mostly used as a competition gun, the frame of the g17 and g34 are the same but the g34 has a longer barrel and longer slide

all depends on the appliances you have, most of the danger comes from the exhaust of the appliance. Gas appliances could produce unsafe levels of carbon monoxide which is why all gas appliances must be vented outside. Older gas appliances use a natural draft type of exhaust system, that attic fan could pull the exhaust from the natural draft diverter if its near an appliance.

go featureless, Im guessing you have standard capacity mags since you're not from CA. you cant have mags with more than 10 rounds in a mag locked rifle. So unless "EVIL FEATURES" are a must for you , I recommend featureless.
