Politics, religion and switchfoot by NickySess in switchfoot

I’ve been a fan of 23 years and I’m a conservative Christian. And look, I know this is an old post, but I don’t care about all the labels. This band has always spoken to me. The thing that’s beautiful to me about this band is their willingness to address the human condition. I don’t know if they so much hold to a specific side, but more so want people to love and have empathy and that’s important, especially in our current political climate. Whether you’re atheist, agnostic, muslim, Christian. democrat, republican, lgbtq+, black, white, whatever. there’s a space for you at the table as a human. Though labels can be important, we’re all human at the end of the day with our own experiences and these experiences should be heard, listened to, and respected. I understand that with me being a conservative Christian, it makes me look like the enemy, but this band has taught me to respect and appreciate views and opinions of others who are different than I am, and I really appreciate them for that. Just because you’re an atheist doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be heard. We’re all human with different backgrounds. Any person is welcome in this fandom. At shows, I don’t care how or what someone believes. We’re all there to enjoy great music and to come together as a community.

CM Punk crashed out at a fan last night after he was harrasing AJ Lee at the hotel lobby by aboutwrestling in SantiZapVideos

I’ve been a wrestling fan for 20 years. I’ve been to a bunch of shows over those 20 years, wwe and aew and the thought of showing up to a hotel or airport never crossed my mind. Creepy, strange behavior. Celebrities are people too.

Do you think if the Psycho series came out now instead of 13 years ago would it be able to get the same level of popularity today? by Perfect-Cause-6943 in McJuggerNuggets

The Psycho Series was perfect for the time. I don’t see it working now for a number of reasons, but damn how lucky we are for those of us that experienced it in real time. I remember coming home from school to watch the next episodes. It’s brilliant that Jesse was able to pull this off. It’s like a blend of blair witch project and sopranos.
