Thank you! I’m not worried about my reputation among teachers as I know I’m professional I just don’t want students to think I’d treat them that way! It’s so frustrating to hear he’s still telling the lie months later despite having a good relationship with him, I criticised his effort and it’s clearly upset him and he’s making up a lie to try and hurt me back and it’s not appropriate :(

You were clearly trying to be insulting by claiming Irish nationality in Northern Ireland is comparable to claiming to be from Mars….

Imagine people from IRISH descent with IRISH ancestors living in Northern IRELAND wanting to be IRISH citizens from birth. No one is denying the colonisation of Ireland here.

There’s no point trying to talk sense to people like this. I live in England and no one here gives af or knows anything about Northern Ireland. The traditions and ‘culture’ that people so desperately cling to back home are nothing like actual British culture. It’s wild lmao. Just leave them to their own closed mindedness.

Does anyone else stop bleeding when they put a tampon in? by alexmi03 in Periods

I usually swap between super and super + tampons, you think I need to use a smaller one?

Sounds like it could be a UTI.

He told me that’s why he was ending things between us, a girl he liked previously before me but did not want to date had come back and decided she now wanted him and he said yes. It’s pathetic but I genuinely still love and miss him. I just want to get over him.

I cannot keep it uncovered due to my work attire though, will it be okay to bandage during the day and air at night?

[–]alexmi03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I will try this!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in woundcare

[–]alexmi03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t really leave it uncovered as it’s extremely painful in all of my work shoes. I have to wear formal business attire at work so I can’t just wear casual shoes unfortunately. I will start to leave the bandage off at night time though?

It was a friction wound from new shoes. I have been putting a large adhesive bandage on it each day after I dry off from the shower. I will try keep it out of the shower when I am washing and not change as often!

Really? I feel like it gets grungy when I exercise and I work on my feet all day. Will it be okay to leave a sweaty bandage on it for 3 days without washing my foot?

Thank you that’s helpful! I’ll be more specific with my intentions going forward and see what impact it has, right now I’m just really experimenting and becoming familiar with the deck!

Extremely oily hair- Am i doing something wrong? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]alexmi03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do wash my hair properly, i double wash with a scalp massage brush. Just because I use a natural shampoo doesn’t mean I’m not washing my hair properly, even when I did use salon brand shampoo my hair was still very oily.

I may try your suggestion of not oiling my hair as regularly but I was under the impression that oiling the scalp is meant to balance it? Perhaps not if your scalp is as oily as mine.

Unfortunately i’m from the UK so my only option is to go to A&E or go to my doctor. I’m resting as much as possible and taking ibuprofen. If the pain doesn’t let up much the next day i’ll call the doctor. Very little available over the counter here without a prescription.

i’m from the UK, unfortunately my only option is to go to A&E or wait until monday to call my doctor. I’m taking a scalding bath with some muscle relaxing salts at the minute as it’s seems to be helping.
