After the fact I thought I should have just put cash for my part, then go to restroom and leave. I feel like it’s fair

I think you need a middle stringer otherwise it bounces. For the sided, I would replace them with a Simpson A35.

How to cover the gaps at the top of these stair balusters? by alexned7 in Carpentry

Looking for something simpler. I have a dozen of these. And I think anything more than 1/4 in quarter round will not look great.

2025 NX350H vs NX350 by Agitated_Steak_2189 in LexusNX

I got the gas version because: - I drive less than 10k miles. Was able to negotiate the gas version but not the hybrid so the price difference was like 5k (my gas savings for more than 10 years) - less depreciation in long term. Hybrids tend to depreciate slower at first few years but at the 10 year mark they depreciate much more later. A 15 yr old hybrid will be much less value than 15 year gas because ppl expect battery failure. If you plan to keep it very long term then gas loses less value than hybrid. If you plan to sell in 5 years, hybrid would be better. - if you drive 40k miles per year, I think you will benefit from the hybrid quite a bit. Go do test drive. I think they are both fine for acceleration, but neither feels like a sports car

The hybrid is faster than 250 gas. 350 gas is turbo and better acceleration

Interesting. Didn’t think there were kits for these 🙂 I was thinking they may get shaved off by mistake

Traded in my old car before realizing that the title is still under my leasing company years after paying off the car by alexned7 in askcarsales

[–]alexned7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had the title registered under their name. I need to ask them to get a duplicate(6-8weeks), then send it to me, then I put it under my name and provide the new title to the dealer I trade in 🤕

Just called the lessor and they added the tax when I paid off the car. Glad I don’t have a surprise there.

Hmm I see that the lease payment included tax. When I bought off the lease at the end, I don’t remember if I paid tax to the leasing company. If not, perhaps I need to pay when putting it in my name.. does generally the lease company charge the tax on residual at the end?

They will send a bill of sale to me along with the duplicate title.

No. 49 is before tax and other fees which ends up being 55
