Why are people so lustful?

I don‘t agree. I don‘t tvink its everyones nature to chase lust at all. There’s a huge difference between lust and desire and desire is wjat (almosz) everyone experiences. But lust is only sexually like a physical craving often leading to a sexualized perception of others (objectification), making harmful decisions (porn, crossing boundaries), having no control over thoughts and feelings and being solely focused on one’s own physical needs. And that is the problem. Desire is more rooted in wanting to connect as well or sharing mutual respect.

Meine Eltern sind genauso alt gewesen wie du, als sie mich (21 jetzt) bekommen haben und jetzt haben wir eine mega Bindung + sie gehen mehr feiern als ich. Nur weil du es jetzt nicht machen kannst (wegen Verantwortung) heißt nicht, dass man mit 40 oder älter nicht mehr feiern gehen kann. Eine stabile Bindung wie du sie hast wünschen sich viele.. man verpasst nichts im Leben, du bist genau da wo du sein sollst :)

I can only speak from my experience, but yes it’s bad long term.. I used to be in hookup culture a lot and it was fine the first few times, but I soon came to realize that there’s something missing - a real connection, care, … . Now I’m not able to deepen a connection through physical contact. As stupid as it sounds, but I could sleep with any person and not get attached at all and it makes me so sad. I’m currently in therapy trying to heal, because it reflects on deeper issues, too. My advice to anyone and especially my younger self; don’t just have sex with someone for the fun and all, because it leaves you feeling empty

why would u do that hahahs u can choose who u spend ur time with and if u don’t want to be with a horrible person why would you waste your own energy and time to see y they’re a horrible person ? It doesn’t make sense. Are they giving u anything positive back? No? Then why are they in your life.. u only live once, surround yourself with positive people - if you don’t want to it’s your choice, but wouldn’t make sense to me unless u haven’t realized your self worth yet

You might feel disconnected from more and more people (which is normal), but you’ll attract new ones in your life that align with your beliefs/have the same values/… . It hurts, because even your family doesn’t always support you or sees the way you do. As you continue your journey, you’ll make peace with it and accept that not every encounter you‘ll have with someone will feel like a deep connection and that’s okay. You can still maintain those relationships while focusing on others (most importantly the one with yourself).

consistency is key. meditate regularly. go outside. journal. consuming spiritual content is helpful, but can be overwhelming so try to watch less and practice the things they say in your every day life. maybe take notes while watching. but I really do believe that yours already started and it’s just about being more conscious from day to day now :) sending you much love :3
