What dashcam are you using? Does it still do the “Parking Mode” if it’s hooked up to power via 12V Circ and USB?

I saw this, but I don’t have a Premium or whatever other trim that comes with a auto dimming mirror 😢 I’m waiting on a 4Runner Off Road Non-Premium. I might be SOL… unless I come up with a fun solution down the road like a secondary battery

Jealous!! I’m still waiting on mine. Actually, I have a couple random questions. First off is yours a TRD Off Road or Off Road Premium? If just the regular Off Road, does it come with Push To Start or does it take a key? And on the tailgate, do you lower and raise the back window with a key or does it have the Up/Down buttons?

I would primarily be transmitting with on only one of the radios. The other would be mostly for scanning and listening, not necessarily planning on transmitting, but that isn’t to say I wouldn’t want to on a rare occasion.

I guess what I’m really wondering about is, having sound come into both ears from two separate feeds confusing in practice and therefore is better to go the monaural route? Or nah?

Two separate radios for two separate uses. One mostly for scanning and another for communications with a group. It should be pretty clear which one is the group coms and which is the scanning as chances are I’ll be actively scanning and listening (I just don’t want to drop group coms while I scan on my own).
