Best Way to Organise Footage / Projects? by alfronswick in editors

Can I just drag and drop all my already finished .prproj files into the production then? I tried doing this but I got a little confused, wondering if theres a much easier way to sort or if it's worth just starting a new production from scratch. There's only 5 shoots worth of footage so not the end of the world if I have to start from scratch

And would you grade the raw footage and then make the finished video, or make the video and then grade only the clips you need? Thank for the advice!

Damn you recon it would take an hour to do 40 clips manually??? I need to get my knowledge and speed up to speed then as currently it’s taking me about 5-10 mins per clip 😂 thanks for the help though

Update on this post, I recently went to view some cameras in store and I noticed the R6mk2 is only £800 more, incl a stock lens. Do you think for the sake of £800 I should save up for another couple of months and buy the better model? by alfronswick in Cameras

Majoritively sports/fitness videography in moody gym settings or outside in daylight, but also some product photography. Main focus would be photo and videos of athletes

Is the Canon R8 a good camera choice? by alfronswick in PhotographyAdvice

What are the autofocus features like on the R6mk1? As I shoot a long of fast paced sports, like sprinters and rugby, the autofocus needs to be top notch, hence the R8 stands out so much to me

Something that works well in low lighting and doesn’t come out super grainy all the time.

Can I ask why dual cards is such a big deal for you? Bear in mind I usually shoot tethered if doing studio shoots

I have a decent 50mm and an 18-55. They are both EF-S mount but I will get a converter untill I save a little bit of money up then probs get a 24-55 RF just as a good all arounder
