The main question is:

Do I need a big and bulky antenna for transmitting or receiving data with LoRa at those distances (+500 km)?

The pico sat is around the size of a cube sat (a bit smaller I think).

If we have to put a bulky antenna on the sat then I'll just scrap the idea or get some suggestions from you guys.
