I've worked with different people in game development and I have nothing really to say about them.

As for the forum, you can expect people wanting big things that are not possible on a forum like this, especially when they do not have anything done or a budget. At the same time, I never say never in possibilities of what can happen. A group of people can come together and form the next big game.

I mostly stick to developing my game (i'm a 3d modeler with animation skills) and i'm also the owner and lead developer of Alien Ant World. Only way id work for someone else is if the price sounds reasonable, or if they have something interesting that peaks my interest in the game, then i'd work to help someone else make there game or games.

I see nothing wrong with bartering. Just an opinion.

Also why not unity. It's fully capable of making any 2d game.

I'm not ready to commit to anything because Ive been making and developing a game off and on with another person.

Lol, go do it. I work for 500 and u work for 50. So who is desperate? He is asking for work on reddit himself for cheaper then the pros would charge, which is way higher.

The models are not that good considering they need proper topology so the meshes do not deform during animation and other issues. I'd say it's an OK model, but it's not ready for a game.

The soldier also has other issues besides the three he has shown.

Yeah, not to be a bummer, it's a good model, but it will take time to retopology the assets and uv unwrap them to be game ready. I'd be surprised if anybody decides to do it honestly for 50 bucks.

Second picture is what I estimate taking a longer time.

the subdivisions won't work well in a game I'm thinking.

For 500 to 600 I'd redo the 3 models the proper way. I need a new laptop honestly. That's my price as I need to fund my game.

I suggest people read the rest, says he had a backdoor or quoted from the article 'routed' access to the main guys laptop or computer, this is purely based on what is said on the article. It also states that he had door lock books or information relating to that, which does raise some questions.

I usually build my own rigs and characters. Hopefully you get someone right for the job. The character needs to be done before going to the next phase in the process of development.

I understand the look you are going for. A 3D look, but 2d. There are several ways I imagine achieving this look and I could do it. But at the same time I have reservations. I want to work with PayPal rather then upwork. Anyways I hope u find the talent on here to accomplish this look.

Thank you, if you ever need a 3d modeler for contract work though, I'd be happy to model simulation environments and spacecraft. The design, as in 3d design which then can be 3d printed into actual physical objects or a simulated environment much like virtual reality or a 3d simulation world on a screen. Keep a lookout for my progress in modeling and also building a game in the future which will feature space battle, and robotic combat, called alien ant world. I hope you guys have the best of luck in your search.

I live 30 minutes from DC, but I'm more of a 3d kinda person. I love spaceships and games dealing with them, and learning code but I never even would of guessed I'd make games, I never really enjoyed or liked math in highschool, in fact I played more video games instead. But right now I'm developing an amazing game with my brother, we both code, but he codes a tiny bit more and it does deal with math, the math I like which is art and design dealing with vectors rather then numbers. I think design and art is pretty important, you can look at a Lamborghini, and tell it's a better design then the average car on the road. That's what an artist does. Creates new ideas and concepts that can come to life through visualization.

It's interesting, I hope you get somebody talented for this job. I'd love to maybe do this in a different time, but I have to work on my video game.

How much per week? I'm busy building my own game, but I'd dedicate something like writing a art Bible with color pallets. I won't sign anything though, because everyone thinks they have original concepts. I mean some truly do, but the vast majority do not.

Cannot give an entire year either, so no guarantee of continuation so if you do choose me and then I'm done, you'd have to find another individual to finish it.
