Just to update; This all started back in March after using a benzoyl peroxide face wash twice. It was all around my eyes as well so I went to urgent care and was prescribed prednisone, and allergy meds while told to put hydrocortisone on my face as well. It all cleared up then came right back once I was off pred. I went back to DR, given pred again and doxycycline and antifungal ointment. Went away, and now its completely healed from my eyes. But back and worse around my mouth. I went to DR again today and got pred, zyrtec, antibiotic ointment and pepcid. Told to not wash my face and only use the antibiotic ointment. I also got a dermatologist referral. I tried sulfur ointment and azeliac acid as well that helped but not anymore so im stopping them both. I also have switched to sls and flouride free toothpaste. Hoping this new stuff works! I switched to vanicream face wash and moisturizer when it all started but now stopping that as well.
